Novelty Spinning
(optional segment on how to use art and novelty yarn)
Various spinning techniques are taught, a short video by Better Hollywood Productions is shown titled 'Full Circle' - a brief look at today's spinning culture and what it means to the art of spinning.
Freeform Crochet
Various techniques are shown for stitches that work well in a freeform project. This can be a combination of knitting and crochet. Scrumbling and piecing is taught. This tends to be a full day workshop with the end goal being the creation of a freeform hat.
Found Object Mosaic
This is a workshop for beginners who want to learn to make beautiful works such as mirrors, boxes, etc. from found objects, glass, etc. It is a modern look at the art of mosaic and has been simplified for cost effectiveness and ease of learning.
